Resort Nuevo Mundo de Sosua in Dominican Republic:

we answer your questions

Whatis the Vastu?

Vastu or Vastu Shastra is an ancient building design and architecture system that has its roots in India. The purpose of the Vastu is to create environments that are suitable for a life (personal or work) full of tranquility, well-being, wealth, health, prosperity and happiness by following the precautions that can put nature, the elements and the energy fields in harmony.

What activities will take place within the community?

The Nuevo Mundo de Sosua resort wants to be a real community, where sharing is an essential element. Precisely for this reason, the structure is equipped with many common spaces. Among the activities that can be carried out in the community are the path around the energy spiral, yoga and meditation sessions, participation in holistic paths and the care of the garden and the main garden, as well as fitness activities in the gym of the resort. The SPA will be able to give you unique moments.

  • Great value is also given to the choice of spending time alone or to be shared only with one’s family: everyone will be free to choose independently when and how to share their time with others.
  • Privacy is guaranteed by the presence of separation elements between the various housing units.
  • In short, a truly unique opportunity to work on oneself, in a deep and complete way, on one’s own mind, caring for the body and nourishing the spirit.

What does Five Dimension Home mean?

Five Dimension Home is the name of the project carried out by Paola Olivieri, the architect who took care of the development of the Nuevo Mundo de Sosua resort. The Five Dimension Home is based on the principles of Vastu: to live a life full of well-being from every point of view, you must inhabit spaces that are in harmony with nature and the five elements (earth, water, air, fire and space). This balance is achieved only by designing buildings following certain fixed rules – such as the choice of the position of some areas of the house with respect to the cardinal points and the use of some materials – and of measures that vary according to the characteristics of those who occupy these spaces and their life objectives.
